Important
Note: The information provided for trekking is intended as a general
guide and may not be fully accurate for trek planning. Please consult GHNP
officials or SAHARA for more detailed information. Visitors intending to stay
over-night in the National Park will need to carry their own tents, sleeping
bags, rations, and other overnight trekking supplies. Organized treks can be
arranged through SAHARA. Necessary permits should be obtained in advance from
above mentioned officials. There are 14 patrolling huts (rain/snow shelters
without any furniture, or other facilities) inside the Park for the use of Park
officials and visitors.
